This is the first ever release of the soundtrack to Paolo Heusch's 1958 film "La morte viene dallo spazio" (also known as "The Day the Sky Exploded" in the US and "Death Comes From Outer Space" in the UK), which is considered the first Italian science fiction drama and features Mario Bava as director of photography. Carlo Rustichelli's suspenseful and eerie score underlines each tense moment thanks to a rich orchestration characterized by noticeable strings and brass, alongside noises and sound effects recorded live and electronic instruments, which give more realism to the depiction of rockets and asteroids moving through space.
As for every release of Dirt Tapes Sounds series the packaging is unique: in addition to the audiocassette (with analog remaster from the original tapes and onbody full coverage UV print) you will find:
